OLD VINTAGE ANTIQUE 1928 HARLEY DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLE MODEL JD - NICE OLDER RESTORATION!

This is a really nice, about a 10 year old restoration of a 1928 Harley Davidson JD motorcycle.
A.M.C.A. 99.75 senior first back in late 90's.  This bike was meticulously restored
from hub to hub both cosmetically and mechanically. i can honestly say every bushing, bearing, spacer, nut
and bolt was back to factory specs at the end of that restoration.

ALL LEAD TANK AND FENDER WORK - NO PLASTIC FILLER.

This bike has been very dependable.  However, it sat in storage for a
couple of years and after a few weeks of being back in duty, the right
gas tank started to leak and ruined the paint (see photos).  I applied
4 coats of sealer and let the tank sit for a week filled with gas - no
leak. as soon as I'd mount it it would leak like hell. I haven't fixed it but
narrowed it down to the front lower mounting bracket needing
resoldering.  Everything else VG+ condition.
