So my new Deuce needed a new front tire. It wasn’t an ASAP situation but I’d hate to be driving down the highway and have a front tire failure and know the tire was on its way out.

I ordered this MH90-21 tire from Retrocycle. It is the Harley D402 touring tire that is original equipment for this bike. The MH90/21 also fits the 2010 Big Dog K-9, 2010 Big Dog Ridgeback, other Harley Softail models such as the Fatboy and also the Harley XL Sportster. Check both your bike’s manual and the tire that is on the bike before ordering a tire. Previous owners might have changed the wheel to something other than stock.

If I was back in NJ I would use Retrocycle’s tire mounting and balancing services. Here in CA I will need to search for a shop to do this swap. The s-dealership wants around $300 for a tire and mount / balance which is way too much in my opinion.
